Personality Link Love

For those who were brave enough to do a bit of metaphorical navel-gazing following my previous post (and I hope you were, because the information you get from it can be terribly useful), I suspect that a little more detail on what your results mean might be helpful in applying them to your life.

To that end, I offer three of my favorite personality resources
(presented in size-descending order, as is only proper for the slightly OCD INTJ).

This one is my top favorite, and the first one I always hand out to my victims clients.  There is a great deal of information on here about careers and relationships for the various types, in addition to the general descriptions.

There are more detailed Myers-Briggs sorters on this site, as well as descriptions and lists of famous people who might share your type.

Good descriptions, and more famous people.  Find out what kind of company you’ve been keeping, without even knowing it!

I would love to hear more results from everyone!  The more the merrier!

Are You My Type?

As I’ve been going along with my aura work lately, I’ve noticed that the readings are often nicely supplemented by a little discussion of Myers-Briggs personality types.

If you don’t know about personality typing already, it’s kind of the scientific version of a chakra reading.  It breaks personality down into four simple components:  Introvert vs. Extravert, Intuitive vs. Sensor, Thinker vs. Feeler, and Judger vs. Perceiver.

What?  Not that simple?  Kind of weird actually?

Okay fine.  I’ll bet you’re a Sensor.  :)

For those who want to know a little more about themselves, however  (and possibly transform their lives and relationships in a truly profound way), I offer the following link:

Typewriter Ball

No, not THAT type, but you will have a ball taking the quiz!

Here you will find a very short (around five minutes) personality test, composed of four comparative questions.

And unlike aura readings, which I will only do with express permission from each client, I encourage you to take this quiz for not only yourself, but for anyone else you know well enough to do so.

It will give you a tremendous amount of insight into how they think and approach life, which will help you to approach them in a way that may make your relationships far more successful.

The key to tolerance is understanding – and the more of both, the better.

I am an INTJ, for example – actually a highly rational, scientific type, and probably one you would expect to find reading a medical textbook rather than your aura.

But we can be very open-minded and intuitive, and over time I’ve done a whole lot of work to develop my feeling side, which is not naturally strong in my type.

This is the benefit of understanding yourself – it should never serve as an excuse for your weaknesses, but a tool to work around and minimize them.

If you do take the test, drop me a comment and let me know how it turned out!  I’d love to get to know you all a little better.

Sorry for the pop quiz on Monday morning, but I hope you’ll find it’s worth it!
